Ok... I haven't really posted anything (does anyone even read this? ha ha) because I've been busy with work and last minute purchases for my house and my cousin's arrival next week. I don't know how I'd fit being into school this semester, but this just confirms that God is in control of my life and knows why I didn't manage to go to school this semester. (that's another post some other time).
I'm beyond ecstatic for my cousin's arrival next Tuesday! I haven't seen him in a long time, so the fact that I can have some days off work (for the most part - I will still be working from home for a few hours) and enjoy most of my days getting to know new places I haven't had the chance to go to or have been to before but it's like going for the first time since most of the museums and sight-seeing places change, it's going to be a nice break. Thank God my cousin is giving me a reason to take a well-deserved break! His arrival also solidifies the fact that my trip is coming along smoothly and will be arriving pretty soon! That's also a very exciting part of my life I cannot wait to experience! I believe we're around 50+ days until such trip. :)
Lately I've been having LOST dates with my fellow traveler and we've started to make it a habit of talking about our plans to Italy, Paris, London and Germany right after we finish a quick wrap-up of the LOST episode we just finished watching. We are planning to go trip shopping sometime next week just to make sure we don't miss out on taking the essentials, especially for our red eye flight: a travel pillow, blanket and an eye mask. I got the idea of buying the travel flight kit from another blog. While we are still trying to decide and arrange our itinerary in specific detail, we get more enthusiastic and anxious about the places we'd like to see. I know we have to accomplish this itinerary a.s.a.p so we can take advantage of the time we'll be there.
Among other things happening on this trip is that I will become the godmother of a beautiful girl named Vittoria. She is my cousin's daughter and while taking advantage of my trip, such event will be taking place. I've never been a godmother and being 24, it makes me feel like I'm taking a big responsibility that I'm looking forward to! I have yet to officially meet her, but I've seen many pictures of her and she looks like an absolute sweetheart! I cannot wait to meet her.
